I know that back in 2017 when this was discussed, someone had an web site calculator that showed the different was within the tread depth that would wear off the tire in normal use.

It’s not terribly important unless you have a clutch type limited slip axle. With e-lockers (unlocked) or unlocked front hubs the axle really doesn’t care if the tires are an inch or three different diameter. It’ll drive just fine until you get the road tire fixed and reinstalled. If you have a limited slip rear end it would be better to put a mismatched spare on the front axle but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t.

Thanks for the replies. I would feel better with a matching spare if it will fit the space. If not the one I have will have to do.
