Passenger side rear window on my Scab will not go down. Just clicks. I have 12v to the switch and to the motor in both up and down. In down position switch/relay just clicks motor does nothing. In up you can feel the motor click. Had the window down, put it up and parked the truck. Got back in an hour later and this. I am assuming my power window just died? Was hardly used in 3 years, found it odd that it died this sudden and without warning. Anyhow, just wondering if anyone else with a supercab has experienced this and where they found a replacement window motor. Thanks!
No problem with mine. Does the rear door window switch work or does it act the same as the driver door switch?
It just clicks (the window switch) in the down position. It clicks in the up also, but I can feel the motor clicking with my hand ( window is up so it would click since it can't go any further ), the motor does nothing in the down position, just the switch clicks. I don't have a wiring diagram, but I back probed the switch until I had 12v from a wire in the up and 12v from a different wire in the down position. I unplugged connector at window motor and 12v was present both up and down. I would imagine the use a common ground ( couldn't check amps, just Volts ) so that would basically leave it as the motor being my issue I think. I have never had a power window motor die so quick. Usually you can give a firm whack and get a few usages out of it. This thing does nothing..... I'll probably run jumper wires from the battery both ways and make sure it's getting the proper amps/volts and by pass the switch all together.
Last Supercab I owned was a 2005 rear window on the drivers side would on accasion refuse to go up and next time it would refuse to go down. I took it back to the dealer and thay ended up changing the door regulator board and the motor.

Finally got a bit more time to check the thing out. Was the window switch/circuit board assembly. $18 shipped on ebay, $23 from Tasca. The single switch is interchangeable on all 3 doors, it just pops in/out of the door specific housing. Took the one from the passenger side as a test piece to verify it was the switch. I think ford uses this switch on several models. The ebay seller has sold 25 of them. part # FL3Z-14529-AB. Will be here Friday. Better than the $75 window regulator and only a 2 minute swap!

Big time. Although $75 for a regulator is way less than the $275 we had to pay for one on our Jeep several years ago.

Okay......It's not working again, with a twist. Went out today and tried to vent my windows. To my surprise the passenger rear just gave a very familiar "click"!! So after a week or so of working I assumed something is causing the switches to go bad. I pop the switch out of driver side to use as a test piece like before and to my surprise get the same clicking sound but no window movement. So I take the new switch that I assumed went bad like the original and tried it in the drivers door and it works perfectly......Just to help my sanity I tried the original switch that I had yet to throw away, and it does not work on the driver side. So..... 1.) I definitely had a bad switch. 2.) I now have a non functioning window despite verifying that I have 2 good switches. I have no wiring diagram, but I'm assuming these operate on a module? I am at a complete loss right now. . . . . . . . .
