Good afternoon everyone, I have a 2001 f250 super duty lariat. Working on my wiring harness that a cat tore out I noticed I have a white wire with a green strip over next to my intake heater, and glow plug relays. It has been unhooked for a while i guess. I do not know where it should be hooked back up. It has a large o ring connector on it, and I can not find a wiring diagram to help me out. It doesn't affect the truck but thinking about it she is very very hard to start in winter. I am putting a picture with this so if you look at it we are all on the same page. The yellow arrow shows the wire, and the blue arrow shows the connector that I have tucked out of the way so it doesn't touch something it shouldn't. Thanks for the help all is greatly appreciated.
Yes a wild cat. Living in the desert in nm cats help keep down the mouse population and one has adopted my house to live under. She uses my truck as a safe haven from the loose dogs in the area, and she ran up under my hood to get away from them one day and took out 12 wires from my computer harness. Had to repair those just to get the truck to start again. Got that fixed yesterday. Back to this issue, it looks like in your two photos their is a second wire connected to the glow plug feed terminal, that has a blue lead section just like mine. I only have the larger wire connected. So I should be safe in assuming my wire goes back on that terminal. Unless of course it has unhooked in the past because something was wrong with it. Any clue as to what that little wire does.
