2ooo v1o Excursion SOMETIMES dies at Stop/Stoppin/Idle

I have a 2000 V10 Excursion I just had the engine replaced with a new engine and it was doing this before I replaced the engine. It only does it when I drive it apparently because every time I take it to the shop it never does it on them. Any ideas. I hear the ICA could be the cause. What else could it be?
Is it fixable myself or would I have to take it in? What's the cost on the solutions? I'm not mechanically inclined at all. I don't want to get "had".

Any help is appreciated.

Definitely sounds like the IAC - it's an easy job, if you can climb up there, and get to it

you might be hitting the brake pedal with the corner of your foot when pushing down on then gas pedal, Ford puts these into limp mode when that happens
