Ok I have a problem

I have a 2000 excursion with the v-10. Every time I go outside to let it warm up in the mourning it wants to stall but then will pick and idle fine. It does it in the mourning and when it has been sitting at work for 16 hours.

I'd check your IAC valve. Will it keep runing if you give it a little gas?

Yep, definitely sounds like the IAC, only a 15 minute job to replace.
