Regular Sync Pandora App... Won't load

Regular Sync Pandora App... Won't load
So I can't get my Sync system to load Pandora. Turned the app on, every time I open it it just says buffering. I thought at first it was my crappy service area, but at work I park a couple hundred yards from a cell tower so I have full 4g service. Any tricks to get it to work? Or do I need to do a factory reset?

Mine does this intermittently. Only way I have found around it is to go to Audio screen, set source to the phone, turn on Pandora on the phone and start it playing, wait 10 or 15 seconds, and THEN select the Pandora app. The audio will stop for a second, and it will switch to the Pandora app.
The Sync Pandora app randomly locks up and does weird things like announcing (over the music) that it has stopped, do you want to restart it.... I think Ford's Sync implementation of the Pandora app does not work well with my Pixel2. My wife's Samsung does not seem to have these same issues nearly as often.

I haven't reset it yet, but I can't get the app to work in Sync. I can play whatever through the phone on bluetooth, which is fine. Just annoying it won't work, truck is only 2 years old, come on, lol

For the record...
Reset Sync. Now the app won't even show up. I need to look into updating it. I may just do the Sync 3 swap instead. Sync doesn't work as well as my Sync 2 did in my SHO.

Pretty sure. The app at least showed up before, reset and now it won't come up at all.

Haven't tried, too many cables in the truck already. More soon with the plow mount. I updated it to the current "newest" version, I haven't had a chance to even pair the phone yet. I'll probably play with it tonight.

Tried again last night after work, app showed up, tried to connect, nothing. Shut it off and back on and it's gone again.
I can still play from the phone, it's just annoying that the app won't work.

Well, if you get a chance this weekend to try via USB, and if it works, then more than likely you have an APIM problem.
