I agree that the ZL-1 Corvette would beat any stock street car of it's era(and many other era's). Two bad there were only two of them made in the world. But if I had to choose the best big block, my choice would be the BOSS 429. Let everyone else talk numbers. The history of this engines performance on the track and the street speaks for itself. Although I sure would like to drop a 460 in my 79 Bronco. Lots of torque and lots of potential.
