what the hell ? I was watching this and just about fell over.. is it part# related ves standard old adj setup.. MF.. I gotta take up bank robbing I think!!!!
Yep the C2 iron stands can go for $150-200 alone. I have a set of the same LR C2's and the wider C5's for the MR/TP. If the adjusters are good rockers and shafts not worn beyond spec it's not a bad deal if you want the old steel stands. Some guys just like the old stuff I guess.
After breaking off the ends on 3 shafts with stock aluminum stands I purchased a set of iron LR stands, best $35 spent. Running these iron stands since 1973 without any more shaft breakage problems.
That slot plus the gripping ability and made of iron vs aluminum stands it's a no brainer which one to run if your increasing the FE's performance over stock.
Another item needing attention is replace those rocker shaft springs for solid spacers.
Supply / demand sets the price on these old FE performance and 427 items, want to compare high costs check with that guy in southern Calif who sells used FE parts. Beware as items used is just that, they may be worn worse than what your replacing or welded up cracks of a aluminum intake. Trust me on the intake, went thru 2 of 'em welded on, glad he isn't on this forum anymore.

C2AE-6531-B = C2AZ-6531-B ~ Used on cars: 1962/64 406/427 / 1962/71 352/390 / 1968 427 / 1966/70 428. Used on F Series trucks = 1965/67 352 / 1968/76 360/390.
What's the big deal? These are the same ones my 1963 Galaxie 352 has.

Sure did, they are also on my 1963 Galaxie 390 Fastback and my 1965 F100 390 (built from the original 352).
The parts catalogs show these stands only for the years I listed in the previous post above. No other part number is listed.
As I recall, Ford authorized rebuilders may have used both the aluminum and iron types on their rebuilt rocker shaft complete assemblies (B8AZ-6563-AX). This is the rebuilders part number, and doesn't appear in any Ford Parts Catalog, except ones put out by the rebuilders. The 11 Western States, Hawaii and Alaska's authorized Ford rebuilder is GPD = Genuine Parts Distributors (aka Tomador Engine).

I sold a set of rusty iron 427 LR rockers stands a couple years ago on ebay for $110, $110 for about 1 lb of iron. Better than the current scrap prices.
the ones i have not bid on lately due to $ went for 100-130 or so, this just threw me ... makes me wanna start hitting the parts yards on a regular basis.. Bob's FE Wharehouse....has nice ebay ring eh ? LOL
Bob you'd laugh!!! I sold the smog pulley off my cat for $500!! And the guy offered that and was glad to pay it!! I was thinking maybe $100 tops and he came back with his offer. OMG! My car has some of the same smog and AC stuff the CJ cars have. This pulley was for a smog car with AC which mine is. Unreal. I threw in the smog pump too. It was a later service replacement anyway.
tell ya what is worth good money, 1967 390 aircleaner housings off of a thunderbird. it's the same one all of the 390GT mustang guys need. last one i had I sold for $350 and the guy sent me a check for $400 because he felt like he was "ripping me off".

C8OZ-9B447-B ~ 390 with A/C = It was used on 1968: Mustang/Torino/Cougar and Montego. It was obsoleted by Ford in 1974.
The same smog pump was used on all 1968/71 cars: C8AZ-9A486-C. This was replaced (in 1975) by D5TZ-9A486-A
