2017 fuel filter
Changed fuel filters for first time on 2017@15000 miles, frame mounted filter drained less than gallon out and filter looked new,than under hood filter was fairly tight getting out and put new filter in and turned it to correct position it didn't fit tight,a little play up and down and left and right this normal or am I missing something?

I don’t think they do. I change my filters at 30,000km but that’s 99% highway driving. If I towed more or did a lot of stop and go driving, I’d change them sooner. Your filters only care about how much fuel goes through them, not how far you made it. More fill ups required for that stop and go driving.

Fuel filters are every 24,000 Km for heavy service, 8000 km oil changes. Ie every third oil change. No there is no fuel filter warnings for change soon, change now like for the oil life monitor. These are much higher capacity filters so it is an extended change over previous generations, but is based on volume of fuel filtered. Hope you get the seating of the engine fuel filter figured.
