Fuel Filter ?

Is the Racor fuel filters the same as the Motorcrafts on the 99-2003 7.3's. I was going to buy some Motorcraft fuel filters at Diesel filters online and I seen they had Racors for like $10 cheaper per filter. I had a 6.0 and 6.4 and the Motorcraft Oil filter was a Racor made filter and I wanted to ask you guys about the fuel filter on the 7.3 and see if it was also.

A fuel filter isnt something you want to skimp on. A $10 investment in a tried and proven filter is well worth it.

I've been running Baldwin on all my 7.3 filters I especially like the fuel as it has the integral replacement cap with "o"-rings installed and the cap has a much improved user friendly no tools required design which is priceless when your filter packs up in the rain, on the road, without a rat****! There worth the extra $$$ for that alone not to mention Baldwin's superior filtration properties!......OKAY let the bashing begin!

No bashing from me.

Baldwin's all I use for fuel filters.

That includes the Dahl, too.

But to the OP, Racor IS the OEM filter.
