It looks well enough built. 1/8" plate, appears to be 1/4" or 3/8" brackets. Price ain't horrible. If shipping isn't really high, I'd try it without reviews.

Not exactily it, but maybe close enough to form and opinion? Yes mine needs at least a fresh coat or power coated.

Now that chromed one is what I would be looking for. But I think when I seen the price tag I probably would not have enough extremities!

Check out FEY or Mr Pickup to locate a chromed drop bumper. I did not Google to much though.

I believe the original brand was Westin in the one pictured, but on their site they don’t have it anymore. Thanks for the leads

I would ask them for a measurement of the total width, edge to edge. Some I've seen are a little short and it looks crappy on them.

Sorry Lds 79 ford, didn't mean to hi-jack your thread,
Had a couple of questions to. what do you guys think that drop is on the nice chrome one and do you think it is the same as the ones on the centurions? Also 78&79f250 what would be good dimensions in your opinion for the look on the 77 highboy? Always like these bumpers and I got a guy up the road from me that has a fab and welding shop. I know I could get the steel cheap and could weld one up at home. the only other real concern would be best chrome plate and cost so as to hold up from weather and conditions outside. when I get my truck done it won't be show but a nice sunny day driver.

If I was near my silver truck I would put a tape measure on it for ya and give you a length, width and drop....but I am 7,459 miles from it, at the moment. The drop all depends on if you are going to use a receiver hitch. My blue truck could use/fit a drop one, to cover the cross bar part of my receiver hitch.

Have you tried to locate a place that can chrome it? That might be a hard thing to do and $$$$. Maybe weld one up and then get it power coated a color that goes with the rims or it the truck is 2 tone? That might be a way to go.

Thank you sir for the reply,
If you get back there sometime send me a message. I will keep my eyes peeled. I know one guy that has one on an 86 and it doesn't look bad. maybe I'll try and catch up to him and get some dimensions. There is a sign for chrome plating on the other end of town from me will give them a call for price. Not a big rush, my wife's 1995 jeep took priority when the frame started to let go for the second time. well second frame.I've rebuilt it twice already. Three is a charm.
