I have a 2001 7.3 and have noticed when I’m decelerating I can hear a knock I’m thing that one of my injectors might have stayed stuck open has anyone ever experienced this ?
I'm with aawlberninf350. Probably a worn out bearing or suspension bushings. Does the knocking happen once at the start of each deceleration or does it keep knocking with a frequency that corresponds to engine RPMs?

I had a knocking that was evident when in gear, drive or reverse, and wasn't as noticeable in park or idle. You could hear it when decelerating as the rest of the engine noise wasn't as loud, almost sounded like a intermittent tappet noise. Fuel pressure was fine as well as HPOP readings, I had just finished resealing the HPOP, Installing RR FRx system, doing a Hutch mod, and a few other minor things to solve oil leaks a few months back. The truck was noticeably quieter until this came along.
I remembered seeing a damp pigtail on the IPR sensor but I had just sprayed all kinds of cleaners in the valley so I hit it with electrical cleaner and put it back together. Yesterday I disconnected the sensor and saw a very small amount of oil on the connector seal. I cleaned it, plugged it back in and the noise is gone and the truck pulls better. I'll be replacing the sensor and pigtail as soon as I get done with this hay cutting and bailing. Check your sensor it could be the problem, others have had to replace theirs when their trucks stalled and threw codes but mine did neither and was definitely the problem.
