So I am losing my mind a little bit and taking a break. My neutral selector switch pointer clip was broken, so I bought a new one. Got the old one out (although it fell down the column and who knows where it is now..) but for the life of me cant get the new one in. I can get the left side in, the center but not the right.... so Ill take out.. put in right, center but then cant get the left. If I use a mirror I can see that its like 2mm away from the hole but I cant get it to go the rest of the way. Ended up breaking the replacement I got... good thing for me there is a vintage ford store in town that has them cheap.
So before I lose my mind again, does anyone have any tips/tricks for getting the clip back in?
Anyone have any tips for this? I've broken two clips now trying to install. Seems I can always get one side in.. the other side will be SUPER close.. just whenever I try to force it down it snaps
