351M and 400 valve train differences?

Looking for some information on the 351M and 400 engines valve train. Are they the same components from factory? Cam, lifters, pushrods rockers and timing chain? Just picked up a truck with a valve tap I took off the valve cover and found that one was missing the pushrod and lifter. Found some of the other rockers to have excessive play in them. Looking into getting a new Cam, lifters, pushrods rockers and timing chain. What is the factory specs on the cam? Also included are some pictures of the rockers anyone know what kind they are?

Here are some pictures of the rocker in question that is missing a pushrod. I suspect it is in the valley under intake manifold. What do you mean by rocker shoes upside down?

Any idea what kind of shoes/rockers these are? They are a 4 piece needle bearing on both sides the center shoe/pedestal and a pin that go’s through the bearings/shoe. The ends of the bearings and bottom groove of rockers are wearing on each other.

Those are aftermarket roller trunions that replaced the factory sled fulcrums. The stock rockers originally had aluminum sleds that were upgraded to steel in the late 70's or early 80's. Same parts were used in the 370/429 truck motors and the 460's (rockers and sled fulcrums) If the pushrod is missing, it probably broke and the two halves are in the valley. You'll need to figure out why this happened before replacing parts. I'd guess that hold down bolt worked loose till the rocker got wobbly and the pushrod jumped out of the sockets.

Who ever built it probably had no idea what they were doing and did not check anything after adding the new the parts to the valve train. I would go through the valve train and recheck push rod length, lifter preload, etc. I think you are going to find that push rod length needed to be changed.
