Yeah, until you have a good FICM, your other data doesn't mean much, IMHO. But, I'm Bonehead.

That sounds a little different from your first post

Ficm voltage is around 47.5 to 48. Just looking for some direction to start looking towards

I agree that starting w/ a good FICM is the best bet.

Admittedly, finding a swap in might be a long shot. But, when you're a cheap a$$...

Join out the regional FTE chapter forum here for Wisconsin, and post a message or a personal message to the administrator of that group. Maybe you get lucky. But, you may not have time for all that, so just let FICMrepair swap you a rebuilt for yours.

That was while the truck was running, someone said they wanted to see it while the truck was cranking, and yeah the ficm voltage, went from 42v when the motor was cold up to 48v as it heated up, when I hit the gas when it was cold the ficm volts would climb up to 48 as well.

Thanks for the kudos and recommendations, guys! FordFan....as your voltage is dropping below 45, there is no doubt that your FICM is game over. I'm super sorry. Ship on over to us or let us get you one on exchange and move on! Just please be sure to bench test your alternator when it is physically hot to the touch and get your batteries load tested to ensure that you don't have a repeated issue.

Hope this helps!
