Where is Park
My 2008 f 550 shifter goes into park position but the transmission is actually in reverse. I had to remove the Collum cover and pull the park switch out with my finger to get the shifter out of the park position also the shifter feels funny between second and 1st.... any ideas??

The pawl bolt that moves the cable under the dash on the steering column can work loose. You may have to tighten it. It is a torx head bolt and is a little hard to get to but it is possible with column bolted to dash. If you need to adjust the cable that is done under the truck at the transmission. The cable is bolted to the side of the transmission and the end of the shifter cable is a ball mount. There is a tab on the end of the cable in the plastic housing you need to release to allow the adjustment of the cable. Not hard and there are videos out there that will show you how to do both sides.
