I’m thinking more and more the 1” hole under the seat. Lots of room to get to it. Wires would have to cross over the drive shaft.

The only reason I am using the kill switch is to prevent having to lift up the carpet all the time. The battery cover lid works great. Locks in place. I guess I could put the lid on top of the carpet but then you would see the lid. I was thinking of putting carpet iver he kid and maybe using Velcro to hold a flap in place to access battery when needed.
On my 56 I like to disco my battery whenever it is not out being driven. I get a little tired of always having to open the battery cover lid, and physically connect/disconnect the ground and tighten/loosen the battery clamp. I have been thinking about seeing if I could find some sort of ABS plastic box, I could mount over the firewall mounted solenoid relay and install the switch onto that. I do like the under the passenger set idea. But I have buckets out of a Dodge Neon, which I would like to pull and install a good OE (if I could find) or equivalent bench seat.

Light switch.

I drew a picture of the light switch when I took it apart in the winter. Started puting things back together and I am missing wires 2 and 3. Does anyone know what wires 2 and 3 would go to?

My intent was Safety using this Switch to open Ground. I have a hidden "Ignition-Disable" Switch when publicly parked amongst the Unwashed Masses.....

It would appear that #2 is power, and #3 is parking lights. Unless I have the year wrong.
