Transfer case compatibility
I have a 1994 F-350 4 x 4 5.8 auto, I want to swap over to a M5OD. My question is will the transfer case from the auto work with the standard? or do I have to get a transfer case from a standard?

Thanks for the help.

A M50D in a F350? Seems like a terrible idea, probably won't last long.

Better off with a zf five speed.
I'm pretty sure the autos and manuals all share the same bw1356, I know even my old t18 four speed bolted to the bw1356 as well as the zf and m5od.

Yes the same xfer case will work. The BW1356 was used on all 4x4s F150/Bronco thru F350, auto and manual trans alike.
