CEL and codes

Hello all,

My CEL light came on the other day while driving. It's a 2006 E350 V10 with approx 65,000 miles. Didn't notice anything other than the light wasn't on one minute and was then on the next. Using my bluetooth OBD adapter and torque app, I pulled these codes. Can anyone advise if they're caused by a typical issue and what the fix might be? I'd like to have somewhat of an idea before taking it to the shop and being at their mercy. The van is driven very infrequently but we'll be setting out on our annual summer road trip which probably be 3000+ miles when all is said and done. Last year the ABS light came on after having to brake hard and stop short. Unsure if that relates to any of the codes but wanted to give full disclosure. Van still seems to be running fine, it just has the light on the dash. I believe one of the codes may be battery related and it's possible because last summer the battery just seemed to die out of nowhere after hooking up a powered subwoofer and video monitor. I was able to jump it and haven't had a problem since. I'm not sure if that's just an old code related to that specific incident.

Thanks in advance

The B codes you found are related to the battery condition, most likely due the issues you have with the sub-woofer and video display.

The P0316 isn't too worrisome---it simply means a misfire was detected in the first 1000 revolutions after starting. Clear the codes, test drive about 10-15 miles in city and freeway traffic to see if the codes return.

I have not seen that code so can't be of much help there. I'd post your symptoms in the Modular Motor V8 FTE sub-forum. It should be somewhat of a common or semi-frequently encountered DTC that someone has dealt with at some point.
