I have been reading the threads and there are mentions of "type 1" and "type 2". How do you determine what "type" you have?

Just curious...

Type 1 is genetic, Type 2 is because you're overweight and don't exercise. You are talking about diabetes right?

I've never heard of type 1 and type 2 as they relate to these trucks. Job 1 and Job 2 are terms that apply to when your truck was made. Generally a mid model year change to production.

HA!! Guess I would be type 2 then.. LOL!! My truck is a 9/16 build which would be a job 2 then... Thanks Harman!!

Check this thread. Reading it, and with your 9/16 build for a MY '17, you would be a Job 1 not a Job 2. At least that's the way I understand it.

9/16 So this is interesting. Mine came off the line 9/22/2017 at 23:25:25. Less than a week between the too.
