JOB#'s ?????

I keep hearing everyone talk about there truck job#'s not sure what that is job #1 ,#2 ,#3 can anyone help me out on that

During a production run Ford makes small changes to the trucks, changing options available, stuff like that. They try to do these changes in groups. The initial design is job 1, after the first group of changes they are referred to as job 2, and so on.
