Oooof what a mess. When it does start, the engine runs terrible and needs to have the pedal all the way down or it dies. Lots of gas out the exhaust pipe as well
I don't but I don't think thats your problem. Are you getting fuel? Look down into carb throat with engine off and actuate the throttle lever by hand, you should see gas spraying down inside.
Is your A) initial mixture B) idle speed C) Choke D) Float all set properly? It won't run if these are "off".
Throttle cable and vacuum lines all back in place properly? Base gasket secure?
Fixed! The power valve gasket it came with was apparently a piece of crap, so I put a bunch of form a gasket on it and I’ll runs pretty well except there’s still a lot of white smoke out the exhaust so I just need to adjust the carb and it should be good
Couple updates, carb is done and she starts right up now. Went to the junkyard the other day and got a clock and a working radio. Ordered some speakers since only the dash speaker works. Need to find some radio *****
