Trailer Hitch Recommendation
I'm looking or a trailer hitch for my '75 F100. I do have a barden bumper on the truck, and I would like to keep it if at all possible.
Will a hitch that say's it's designed for the 3/4 ton, work on my 1/2 ton?
Any specific recommendations?

It depends on the year and weather it's a 4x4 or a 4x2. You can't bolt a hitch from a High Boy on to a Low Boy. I always make my own hitches. By the time you order one, sort it all out, see if it will even work and end up dissatisfied with some part of it, I'll be done.

I ordered the Curt 15300 heavy duty trailer hitch. I went under my truck and the outside frame measures just about 37.75 inches.
I'm learning more and more every day about these old trucks. I didn't realize there would be frame differences such as narrow versus wide frame rails.
