So I’m having some problems with my truck it went in to ford to get a new turbo and get the pcm reflashed because It currently has a h&s on it I bought it already deleted with out a programmer rookie mistake but wasn’t worried about it at that point I went with the aurora 4000 know it was going to need custom tuning that’s why I went ahead and got it and a sct x4 with tyrant custom tunes not a big deal ford said they could reflash it so you think not a big deal then the worst happens They get the turbo in start driving it and they call me saying it’s running like crap and they can’t get the sct to program I go up there and there saying it needs updated and I said no it don’t it needs reflashed and come to find out they didn’t reflash it and now they actually tried to reflash it and now it won’t let them and they don’t know why I’m thinking the pcm is locked needing some advise if trying to program it while another programmer being on it will that lock the pcm up?
No disrespect to you but this is one reason I will not delete my truck nor buy a deleted truck. There seems to be a problem buying a previously deleted truck. Specially if the previous owner does not provide you the tuner at the time of sale.
Is there anyway you can acquire the tuner from the previous owner?
