No I did not. I want to say google lead me to believe out computers check for functionality at a different point in the start up sequence. I can try it again later I guess. Used EGR from a pick n pull ran me like 8 dollars and solved it for me.

buddy's 94 5.0l truck didnt work for him, but when he put on his mustang it worked, I've asked him which one he got, he cant remember except it said mustang/f150 EGR delete plug

I did the smog and egr delets on my 93 ford bronco and my 94 f250 both work well no codes or check engine lights the bronco with the 302 I used the method described by sandwich a price of tin between and left rest in tact my f250 with the 351w I used a block off plate and the little plug thing I removed all canesters except the vacuum one for obvious reasons I and Unnecessary vacuum lines I think I left 3 or 4 the switches by coil I left electrical plugs in but no vacuum lines connected the cats are removed but still have o2 sensor

I think there is a link on here on how to build the censor thing for our trucks. Your ebay one must be correct for a F-series ECM or I might have a dud 5.0 one. It did not work for my 5.8 and solid gasket with a salvaged EGR has disabled mine without codes.

Correction: With out check engine lights, I do get a code for thermactor air inoporative.

I think the bypass thing does the same thing as a couple 10 cent resistors. Maybe the value needed to fool the computer is different on truck than stang.

pretty sure its 75 ohm for the trucks
