IMHO, that's where Ford dropped the ball. The problem with not knowing your truck is in regen is if you arrive at your destination and just shut off the engine like we all do, the injectors will continue to be under pressure and drop the extra fuel into the cylinders. Then that extra fuel will make it's way into the oil past the rings and further dilute the oil. If you know you are in regen, then you let the truck idle for 30 seconds or so which will turn off the regen so that doesn't happen. Plus if you know you are in regen and you are doing stop and go driving, you can find your local highway or expressway so the DPF gets hot and does its job. Just saying...
I have the Edge CTS2 gauge, I have a 2012 and very rarely see the message "Cleaning Exhaust Filter" but a glance at the Edge Monitor I can see that I went into regen 1/2 mile from home. LOL I never shut my truck off until the exhaust temp has dropped to near 400 degrees. I live in the hills so the Exhaust temps are always high by the time I get home. I can't tell you how many times the truck has went into regen 1/2 mile to a mile from the house. I'm glad I know that the truck is in regen. I wish there was a way that I could initiate a regen when I know it was getting close.
While we're on the subject of bluetooth adapters, does anyone know of a cheap-o tablet that can be used to display everything? Don't want to burn up my phone battery, I wonder if there's a $99 tablet that will do the job. I know most of the cheaper ones are pretty useless though.
If you don't want to buy any of this stuff, you could always walk around back of the truck before you shut it off to see if it's in regen or not. The exhaust will be noticeably hotter if it is. I usually walk around my truck before I cut it off anyway to make sure the garage door is going to clear my hitch.
Will do what you need if you can find one new. Started my kids on those. Very capable 7" tablet that will play games. They were one of the cheapest and fastest tablets at that price point several years ago.
Have the dealer enable the DPF screen in the dash for you. They unlocked mine for free. You can watch the DPF status and when it hits 99% it will start to go down to 0% eventually. I have never seen the "Drive to clean" status or a notification that I was in regen.
So I had the screen unlocked, but did it turn off the auto regen? I was showing FULL on DPF, put it in park and it asked to initiate cleaning. It is regening now. Just curious if it would have done it on it's own.

I'm down. I have a Banks iDash 1.8 now, before that I had the original iDash. I was just responding to one of the posters here who said he didn't need to know when the truck was in regen. I have a hill on the down side before I get home so usually don't have to wait long until my turbo EGT1 is down under 400. I hear ya on the getting home or to work and she just starts a regen.

That's one way to get a lot of exercise especially if you don't know if you are or not. I think that would get old real fast. Just saying.

I bought an Amazon Fire tablet. Forscan works OK for me. Using a Fire tablet does require a couple of hacks so you can get stuff from the Google Play Store.

Can anyone help? Did this turn off the auto regen?

By having the DPF soot load % screen enabled, all that does is display the SOOT LOAD PID so you can watch it get to 100% so then the truck will automatically initiate the regen process and you will then know it's in a regen. Plus be aware of the smell as it becomes apparent because that DPF gets real hot. It will have no effect on the computer putting the truck into a regen. If you reach 100% and are in the city doing stop and go driving, find an expressway or highway so the DPF gets up in temp so it'll do it's job of turning the soot into ash. If you so happen to make it to your destination and have to stop when in a regen, put truck in park and let it idle for 30 seconds to 1 minute and that will stop the regen. Then the right bank injectors will not be under pressure dripping that extra fuel into the cylinders which will then make it past your rings and into the fuel further diluting your fuel.
