The engine only needs to be jacked up about an inch or so. Pan removal is done by sliding it rearward once all the fasteners are removed, and then reaching inside to unbolt the oil pickup tube once there is sufficient access. The pan with the pickup tube unbolted can then be slid the rest of the way out. Cab or turbo removal is completely unnecessary.
