Vent window replacement glass
I’ve found another vent window for my 64 but the locking handle is broken off of the new one. I’m confident I could pull the good glass out of the broken frame but I don’t want to tear up the good frame. Has anyone done it successfully?

I believe the glass is 'glass taped' into the frame. I'm sure some heat and or chemicals could soften the tape to remove the glass.

...Acetone, lacquer thinner, wax and grease remover.....heat gun, but not at the same time as the former!! Watch not to apply too much heat to the glass with the gun, or you'll crack it. Also a small blade to scrape out some of the glass setting tape will get the solvent started.
