vent window glass removal

vent window glass removal
What all is there to removing the glass from the vent window frame? My drivers side is cracked and a friend gave anouther set he was going to pitch, as the frames are messed up but the glass is good. What do you use to reinstall the glass? Thanks

to be honest with you i would try to find a complete glass and frame as i played with that glass at one time and ended goilg to an auto glass co and getting them to do it for about 75 as you need some sort of tool to install them

Getting the glass and frame out of the door is easy....getting the vent window out of its frame would be a different story....I've never tried it....luckily my spare vent windows have good frames.
