Running Boards?
I just got my window sticker. Truck is scheduled to build on 5/1. Delivery 5/19. I ordered a Lariat but I didnt want the chrome running boards. I wanted the basic black plastic ones, but they wont build them into a Lariat. I have them on my F-450 and I like them. Easy to clean. Relatively sort of not too expensive. My plan was to buy them before delivery and just bolt them on. The salesman told me he would use his discount to save me a few bucks. Heres my question... Do any of you guys have after market running boards that you think are great? I want black. I have had black powder coated pipes on trucks in the past and they ended up peeling. The Ford chrome ones look like a pain in the butt to keep clean. Thats why I actually like the black plastic. But $400 or so seems too expensive.
So Im looking to buy them this week or next. Any other Ideas??

I didn’t care for the Ford running boards so I also ordered mine without. I got the Go Rhino RB20, all black, raptor style, with a non-skid bedliner type surface. It’s a very sure grip when wet, looks good up high against the truck.
