front clip swap

Has anyone replaced the front clip on an '87-91 Ford F-series with a '92-96 front clip? Based on just some eyeballing I've done, it looks like it'll work. Ideally, I would just like to swap the sheet metal - front fenders, hood, cowl, grille, and bumper. Is this a simple bolt-on swap? What problems may I encounter? My hood got beat up by hail and since I know I'm going to keep this truck, but I prefer the look of the '92-96 Ford trucks, I might as well do this now. I'm going to have to do something anyway.

It will swap right over, I know a guy who put a 96xlt doghouse on his 81 4x4. Now it looks like a 96xlt.

Does anyone have a list of what all it takes? I found a good deal on my 88 but I'd like to upgrade to 92-96.

Obviously you'd need a hood, fenders, bumper grill and lights. Do you need the cowl? and what about brackets for the lights and wireing?

If you buy a complete doghouse everything you need should be there 11-1200 from a salvage yard. the old cowl should work but it has slots instead of little holes. Rewiring the lights will probably be the only thing that you will need to do other than just bolting it on.
