Sputter

I have an i6 300 in my 71 F100. My truck is sputtering after I shift into 3rd gear. I have recently replaced my points, condenser, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, I just rebuilt the carburetor. How can I diagnose this problem? I read something about checking vacuum lines and solenoid connections. Thanks for yalls help.

Put the original condenser back in and try that.

I threw it away. Maybe I’ll order a different one. Thanks for your help

Buy a Ford condenser it is still available: Condenser..C9AZ12300A (DC13A) Available from Ford There are sooo many cheap off-shore Look-A-Likes out there. Many times the cheap ones only last long enough to get you out in the middle of nowhere,then quit. Of course, then it's dark (and you didn't bring the flashlight) and it's pouring down rain.
