Dizzy cap corrosion, I'm stumped

Hi guys thank you in advance for any help.
I've got a problem that I have been looking at for quite some time now.
I have replaced my ignition system plenty of times: distributor cap and rotor, aluminum, copper, cheap, expensive, wires, spark plugs, everything! I had an MSD ignition, I removed it, I put and old coil, a new one!...
...AND, I'm still getting bad corrosion in the contacts of my distributor cap only a couple weeks after cleaning or installing a new one!
There are no water leaks, no oil leaks, everything is absolutely clean! I've had this truck in the same city, in the same area with just 2 seasons throughout the year. The dry season (sunny and 90 degrees) and the rain season (humid and 100 degrees) this has made no difference! It is always the same problem.
However, this started perhaps 2 years ago and I've had it with having to clean up these contacts every 3 months at least! Or else the truck would cease starting! It dies after a full stop or when idling, it dies when I press the gas after a red light, it dies when parking, it's really annoying!
At the moment I've got new:
Taylor cap and rotor (very sturdy and has brass contacts)
Accel spark plug cables
Motorcraft spark plugs
MSD 45,000 coil
No MSD IGNITION (I removed it to see if the problem improved but it is all the same)

Any ideas??
Thanks,
Abe

Ozone created from the arcs inside the cap. Its why there is a vent. Stuff corrodes anything & breaks down plastic.

Try wiping down the posts regularly with WD-40 or contact cleaner.

What's the gap on your plugs?
Are you running coppers or one of the exotics?

The corrosion on the distributor cap isn't causing your stalling problem, it's more likely to be a vacuum leak. Does the vacuum resovoir on the passenger side inner fender hold vacuum? If not replace it with a plastic version from a newer truck.

Maybe a ground issue?

Thank You all. Truck did not start today and the good news is that I may have found the culprit to my problem.
It had never corroded inside posts in the past. Every time I clean them the truck runs smoothly and performs perfectly. That's why I ruled out a vacuum leak long one ago. I am very careful with sealing it nicely and making sure the vent is freely working so the ozone created by the arcs won't do this but it's still happening.
Having said that, I am 90% sure it is the ignition module which has not been working properly for some time and decided to die today. The symptoms I've had are those of a faulty TFI but I just didn't relate it. We'll see.

Good luck with the new module but moisture is usually the cause of corrosion. Possibly condensation from an engine not fully warmed up?

Good luck, if it's an aftermarket TFI module expect replacing it every 6-8 months. I don't even know how many I've been through.
