I am looking for a steering column to install in my 1968 f100. I want a column from a 1978-79 F series truck with power steering, tilt and automatic. Can't seem to find one. So my question is this. Is a Bronco column the same? Different years? Thanks for any help Terry

Tilt steering column (only the wheel tilts) introduced in 1978 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline with A/T & 4 speed, not available with 3 M/T in F100/250 & Econoline.
Bronco tilt column 4WD related, will not work with 2WD
Thanks NumberDummy. What is the difference between the two columns?
Can the bronco column be modified to fit? Probably not.
Bronco & 4WD's have a lower steering shaft and coupler assy (3B676 in pic) that connects the upper steering shaft (3524) to the input shaft of the steering gearbox using a rag joint (3A525).
2WD's have a one piece steering shaft w/a flange on the end. The rag joint bolts to the flange, then connects to the input shaft of the steering gearbox.
