Question 1996 Windstar ABS/Speedo problem

I have a 1996 Windstar that the ABS light is on, and the speedometer is jumping around. Is it because of the ABS sensor, and if so, where is it located? I would like to try to clean it, or replace it if needed.

Thanks in advance.

You need to have the codes pulled for the ABS. I believe the windstar has multiple ABS sensors.

Is the Speedometer jumping in any way related to the ABS light coming on? Is it a separate problem?

It could be, but with OBD-II on that engine, you never know. I would assume that they are related problems. It could be the VSS sensor, which on those it would be on the transaxle some where. (VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor). You really need the code to weed out the problem.
