My Dad's F-150 is weird when you try to start it,
it's hard to start. If you give it gas it seems to automatically
flood it out. But if you just keep turning the key it
finally starts on it's own. But right after you get it
running if you tap the gas it will bog down and stall.
Forget trying to drive it if it's not been running for atleast
5-10 minutes. And it's not even cold here yet.
It has the 5.0 in it we replaced the distributor cap,
plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, and we ran some
gas additive through her.
Give us a breif history on the truck, recent repairs made, milage, known problems, etc....

doing this about three months ago. he doesn't drive
it much anymore.
anyway I'm going to run a fuel pressure guage
from the shrader valve on the fuel rail and attempt
to start the truck does anyone know what standard
psi is for this truck? I'm thinking about 40psi like most

Fuel pressure Key on engine off should be 50-60, engine running should be 8-10 lower, fuel pressure running w/ FPR disconnected from vacuum should be 8-10 higher than the last test.
