COP Thread Insert Repair
I might be waaaaaaaaaay behind the curve on this one but found a method to replace or re-set brass inserts found in the plastic intake manifolds found mostly on V8 Modular motors. Before stumbling across this in the Van's Forum I was completely unaware this was possible:
It would seem McMaster-Carr has parts and tools for this same sort of thing too. IIRC COP bolts are M5 x 0.8 size.
FWIW I came across this repair method from another member in the Full Size Vans forum who used it successfully.
