spindle thread size

Just wondering what the thrread size is on the spindle? 2 inch, 1 5/8, 1 1/2.thanks

Um, BIG, comparatively speaking. If you have damaged threads you can try cleaning them up with a small triangular file but you could probably replace the spindle for less than the cost of the die needed to clean up severly damaged threads.

I have screwed up the threads on mine and used a thread file, saved me big time. Only cost like 10 dollars and have used quite a few times after. Can get them at any parts store.
