I always thought that 10% ethanol was the max our cars can handle. For those wondering my understanding its been given the ok to start increasing the ethanol to 15 instead of 10 that is used now.. So maybe by year end

Excepting the EFI units our trucks could run on E100 if the carb (jetting) and timing was adjusted for it.

IIRC the Owner's Manual says up to E15 is OK.

At least you won't need HEET in the winter. If these trucks can run on pure methanol or propane I'm sure there are ways to adapt as long as the suppliers keep up with the rubber parts.

The E10 is already eating up all the seals in our carbs. That is a hint to everyone on here who is running their truck with a carb that hasn't been rebuilt lately. They seem to be including parts in the rebuild kits to handle the E10, but I don't know what the E15 is going to do to the rubber parts of the carbs. And don't forget the fuel pump diaphragms.

And, fuel consumption will likely increase.
