timing

I have a 80 ford f150 inline 6 with 1 bb carb. I brought her from 1464 feet in altitude up to 6500 feet up. She is running a little rough, and didn't want to start today.We are looking at a combination of carb and timing being off, any suggestions on how/where to set the timing. I have not done timing in a long time and I have a cousin willing to help tomorrow. We may also have to mess with the carb and we cannot find the air adjustment screw? I am praying for a relatively simple fix. This is my daily driver and since I have gone back to school money is precious. Thanks in advance you guys are always so knowledgeable!

If you live at 6,500 feet, you're gonna need to re-jet the carb. I forget the specs, I think it's one size for every 2,000 feet in elevation but check on, say, Holley's site.
