Long bed side tool compartment
All: I know I've inquired about this before, but has anyone had any success locating or making the hinge pins for the bed side tool compartment access door hinges?
My truck is a '66 F250 2WD custom Cab.
I removed/destroyed mine to paint the door separately from the box, and now need new pins.
I see that McMaster-Carr has some with heads on one end that might work, but then I'm unsure how to peen the other end when installed without damaging my new paint.
Any sources/suggestions welcomed.
