It's probably been recycled into a toaster three times over, unfortunately the ID tags are usually long gone by now. Normally they were front and center secured by one of the bowl screws. Carburetor rebuild kits are usually pretty generic and will fit a wide variety of carbs. That way they don't have to stock 15 different kits. Post a pic here and we can help get it narrowed down and identified.
Where is the ID tag located on a 1970 F600 grain truck? I need to buy a carb kit, it is a Holley carburetor, thank you
5 different gas engines used in these trucks, what size is it?
The 4th digit of the VIN is the engine code: B = 300 1V I-6 / C = 330 2V Medium Duty FT engine / D = 330 2V Heavy Duty FT engine / E = 361 2V FT engine / F = 391 4V FT engine.
Triangular shaped carb ID tag retained to the air horn w/a screw, most are missing by now. Look on the base of the carb, the ID number may be stamped there.

4th digit is a D. I was told this was a 391 engine
The holley carbs didn't have metal tags from what I remember. Everything is stamped on the air horn. Those carbs are vacuum governed. The kits are available but most of the time the carbs are so worn out it won't help.

Yes if Holley it is on the air/choke horn like mentioned above. also should be a governed carb. if it is a true truck engine..
I found the carb number tonight. What’s the right kit for it? D5TE
This carb is not original to your 1970 F600 w/the 330 2V H/D .. More than likely, the engine has been swapped, because this 4V Holley carb was used 1975/78 w/a 391.
This carb is not original to your 1969 F600 w/the 330 2V H/D .. More than likely, the engine has been swapped, because this carb was used 1975/78 w/a 391 4V
