Growling

I've got a 01 f250 superdutuy. Have a growling when locked in 4 wheel when I decelerate. I can unlock hubs and leave transfer case engaged no growling. Hubs locked transfer case off no growling. Recent hubs outer axles u joinys on axles and seals.i don't get any play in front drive shaft have not pulled it out. Mile marker manual hubs on it. Any thoughts? Thanks

my 99 has started doing this also. more of a hum than actual growl with mine, but only on decel, and only in 4x. mine is for sure drivers side. ill be watching for any answers .
