Dome light ??
Have a 2000 xlt ranger, bought it from a friend last year. Did they ever come with an auto shutoff dome light? I thought I remembered it had one but light stays on as long as doors are open. Need to get some led bulbs for it.

I don't know about the 2000 models, but my 2004 will shut off the dome light after about 10-20 min.
I've sat in the truck reading while waiting for my girlfriend and I had to keep re-opening the door to turn on the lights that had shut off.

The BSR (battery saver relay) circuit powers down after 30 minutes of inactivity, courtesy lighting powers down after 10 minutes. The clock for both begin at the same time and/or, said another way, the courtesy lighting relay/circuit is powered by and is downstream from the BSR.
