Try spraying the latch sensors with WD40. I don't think there's a delay on those going off but I may be wrong. What year and trim do you have?
ETA: Some models appear to have a delay relay, I don't believe mine does, or it's just never worked.

Well, I just changed out all of my interior lights with LED bulbs...and there's a delay on mine now. About 30 seconds or so and they go off, or when I lock the doors via the keypad on the door, they go off.

I tried WD-40 too, but eventually gave up and put in the over-ride switch. Post 50.
