This has almost certainly been discussed but I'm not finding anything directly on point so I'll just ask: Are there any F250 or F350 skid plates that bolt onto a '00 Excursion? I've struck out looking for Excursion-specific plates. I'm looking for some front-end protection from rocks, as I've repaired too many steering stabilizers and sway bars over the past few years. If not, I'll just have to build something I suppose.
better off getting a high steer setup and moving that stuff up and out of the way, also switch to the rwd ex sway bar as it is frame mounted so it is out of the way
Pirate I have been wanting to try that for a while now. I see a couple hurdles but nothing major. Have you done this by chance with leafs? I know you are on coils now I believe...
Sorry wasn’t very clear. Referring to the 2WD front sway bar.
need to weld some tabs on the housing to mount the end links but it should be straight forward. Might need to get a little creative with the link itself but it’s seems doable

Mounting, links, etc. I can handle. From what I have seen I don't think the 2wd front sway bar itself will work based on its "shape." I could certainly be wrong as I haven't test fit anything, just looking at junkyards.
I guess I will have to do it so there is some solid info out there...
