Roll Bar Blue-Prints

I want to make a roll bar/light bar for my '81 stepside. I will be making it for a project for my metals class but I need a blueprint for it. I would like it to have double main bars and single kickers. I either need to buy a print or make one myself. So if anyone out there knows where I could find a blueprint or if anyone has a stepside light bar and is willing to take all the needed measurements for me that would be great. Thanks!

Your best bet is to learn how to make a decent roll bar, how to tie it directly to the frame, and then blue print it yourself. A few basics would be 2.25 x .125 for the roll bar hoops, 1/4 plate feet tied to the frame, out riggers made of 1/4 plate bolted or/and welded to the frame. The feet should each be secured to the frame with (4) 1/2" grade 8 bolts, same with the out riggers.
