On Wednesday I went out to start the truck it was cold out, maybe 28 degrees and the truck was slow to turn over and didn’t start first crank. It has been slower to turn over recently and figured the batteries were going. So, I turned the ignition off and went to restart and nothing, no clicking, no starter engagement, I can hear the pump prime and the GPR cycle, but nothing else. I connected the FORScan and it read 11.6 volts and I figured ah batteries are dead. Fast forward to today, it’s finally quit raining so I go out to put two new batteries in. All goes to planned, go in to crank the truck, and nothing, same as before, everything cycles, but you turn the key and nothing. The batteries read 12.6 at the terminals. No codes on FORScan.
Check to make sure the starter Bolts are tight. Check the positive and negative cable connections. The positive at the starter and the negative at the block.

What year and model truck do you have?

Welcome to FTE!
Thank you for the quick suggestions. I checked all bolts and all are tight. The truck is a 2002. I did take the yellow starter wire and touched it to the battery and nothing happened either. Would this be indicative of the starter?
