Starting last week it decided it wanted to be cranky when I would go to start it the starter would turn the engine over 1-2 times and then disengage (it would keep spinning tho) so I figured it was the solenoid on the starter. Picked up a new stater today and installed NOW I turn the key and nothing happens, keep trying and it will crank off like normal. So went back over all the connections on the starter and the ground posts on the batteries (the only things I messed with) everything is tight and clean!!!
Could I have gotten a bad starter? Or am I overlooking something....
X2 on the bolts. My starter bolts started backing out on me. Luckily I happened to notice it when I was under there for something else. Some blue Loc-Tite and they've been good since (although I still check them when I slide underneath just to make sure).
