Hi all. I normally hang out in the 57 to 60 F Series section but I have a question about a transmission.
I picked up a 61 C600 a few months ago. Cab is way rusted out (lived it's life on the California Coast) so it's not a candidate for a resto. I am building a 59 F250 and am going to use the 292HD and Clark 250V 5 speed from the C600 in it. Been having trouble finding the top plate and shifter. A buddy does have what appears to be the top plate but now I have to find a shifter. Any suggestions on what vehicles to look for in salvage yards? Here are some pictures.
